Hi! We’d like to introduce ourselves: people like to call us Buggs, but our foster mom and dad call us ‘The Pugstons!’ We’re an energetic bonded pair of Pug/Boston terrier mixes named Lucy
(age 6) and Rosco (age 2-1/2.) If you’re looking for a couch pug-tato or mellow mutt, we’re not your match. But if you’re an active person/family, we would love to meet you!
We enjoy long walks and playing in the yard. We’re potty trained and seem to get along just fine with neighborhood dogs we meet on walks. We’re not sure about cats – there was one in the yard--we were intrigued—but he ran off. With our energy levels we wouldn’t be a good fit with young children, but would enjoy older kids who would give us lots of attention and love!
Our foster parents say we’re really well-behaved, but could use a little work on our manners. Me (Rosco) still have some puppy energy and like to jump up and mouth a bit, and we get super crazy when we’re getting our harnesses on for a walk, but overall, we are so good and so much fun! We wrestle with one another so much that my Foster Mom says we could join WWE! We also love playing with all the toys in our toy box! So many choices, we love our toys!
The vet gave us a good bill of health, with just a couple exceptions: me (Lucy) was pretty itchy but am now on Apoquel medication and doing much better. Me (Rosco) had some crystals in my urine and need to be on a special food. Other than that, we’re doing great! We are good eaters and just absolutely love treats (like any pug.) We would love to be the center of your world; we love one another, but we really love our person!
Me (Rosco) has a sensitive little soul and want to be the focus of your affection. Me (Lucy) wants all the pets and snuggles you have to offer. If you work from home or are around a lot, that would be really fabulous! We definitely want to be a big part of your day!
